Goin' To The Dogs and Cats

Hello, fellow pet lovers! My name is Robyn Warner and I have a passion for pets.

I have learned in life that to do something well you have to start from the ground up. I was given an opportunity to learn how to bathe dogs in a grooming salon for about six months. I enjoyed my experience, however, my ambition to grow in the field pushed me to accept a position as a pet nurse assistant with a local veterinarian. There I learned basic knowledge in caring for pets and identifying potential problems as they relate to skin condition, ear infection, and overall health. I then decided it was time to pick a specific pathway to working with animals. My desire to help pets stay healthy led me to choose grooming. After a long search for an appropriate grooming school, I enrolled in the Atlanta Academy of Pet Design. This comprehensive training program consisted of 1000 hours of grooming skill instruction. The school emphasized pet safety, specific breed grooming styles, breed history, and modern grooming techniques. I was awarded a certificate of completion for both canine and feline pet grooming. I believe continuing education in this field is important to caring for pets and have attended several workshops this year.

Prior to my change in careers, I spent 17 years working as a counselor with adolescents and their families. There I learned many lessons related to parents' love for their children and the extremes they will go to in order to ensure their health and safety. I carry these lessons forward as I work with family pets. There are many similarities between how families care for their children and how they care for the four-legged members of their families.

My overall mission is to meet the needs of my clients by making the grooming experience positive, helping to keep your pet healthy and happy, and educating you to take even greater care of your best buddy.

I have always had passion for my work and this career continues to foster my desire to positively impact families and the pets they love.

Tab Clem

Hello, my name is Tab Clem. I have a background in counseling and worked many years with troubled adolescents and their families in an outdoor therapeutic environment. During my years as a counselor, I learned just how therapeutic an animal could be, which lead me to realize my true passion was working with animals. I am currently enrolled in a Veterinary Technician Program through Penn Foster College. My goal is to continue my career with animals with a focus on animal behavior in order to help you understand what your pet is trying to communicate to you. I look forward to working with you and your pets!
